Suit Fits Explained

SUIT CUTS: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

With expert guidance and brand recommendations directly from our buyers, we wanted to break down the differences in suit fits and cuts to help you make more of an informed choice on what suit fit is best for your shape and style.

SKINNY FIT

Skinny fits offer comfort and a great fit. Our skinny fit features little to no excess fabric and sharp lines to create a fashion-forward and modern look. This is the modern gentleman's suit. Lapels and pocket tabs are narrower, the jacket length is shorter for a stylish silhouette and the trousers are tapered into a skinny fit. This style is perfect for the style conscious man wanting to make a bold and fashionable statement but still wants to look sharp.

SLIM FIT

As the name suggests, the slim fit style is a style that is closely fitted to the body with a small amount of excess fabric - creating a smart, trim look. Slim fit jackets and shirts are narrower in the waist and shoulder, while the pants have a more tapered look. Our slim fit suits are perfect if you are looking for a streamlined finish that hugs your silhouette.

Slim fit suits are versatile enough to be worn in multiple settings. This suit can carry you from the office to the weekend and easily transition from day to night.

 COMFORT/CLASSIC FIT

The Classic fit is a timeless style of suit for most body types. This classic, masculine silhouette is a broad fitting and generous through the shoulders, chest and waist. Trousers are fuller in the thigh with a straight cut hem to allow for breathing room and movement. The classic fit has some excess fabric and is ideal for the gentleman who wants to dress smart without compromising comfort.
